A 14-year-old who can deadlift 414 lbs getting offers from multiple top universities

Tyler Parker isn't old enough to get his driver's license, but this 14-year-old who can bench press 300 pounds and deadlift 414 pounds is already fielding offers from multiple top universities.

It's not just strength that has garnered Tyler attention. Parker, who stands six feet tall and weighs 295 pounds, can run the 40-yard dash in 4.9 seconds, LADBible reported. Equally impressive, Parker has a 3.36 grade point average.

Reportedly, Parker has already received offers from the University of Arizona, Portland State, Virginia University, Texas A&M, LSU, Ole Miss, and Incarnate Word.

The CEO of PPI, the International Recruiting and Placement Platform for American Football Players, Brandon Collier, said, "[Parker] can be the number one DT [defensive tackle] in the class of 2025."

22-year-old Oregon football star Spencer Webb dies

Spencer Webb, 22, who played tight end for the University of Oregon, died on Wednesday after a slip and fall accident at the slides of West Triangle Lake, located about 35 miles west of the Duck's campus in Eugene, NBC reported.

The area features large slabs of rock that form natural slides, which lead to small waterfalls and connect to a swimming hole.

Webb slipped on the rock slides and struck his head, according to officials. Sheriff's deputies found Webb "approximately 100 yards down a steep trail," authority said, and search and rescue personnel assisted in bringing him back to the roadway. Paramedics were unable to revive him, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office said.

"There is no evidence of foul play and his death appears to be accidental," the Sheriff's office said.

Former Panthers first round pick Rashard Anderson dies

Rashard Anderson, who was a first-round draft pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2000 and played cornerback for two seasons in the NFL, has died at the age of 45, TMZ reported.

Anderson died in Mississippi on Wednesday, and the cause of death is currently unknown.

"Our condolences go out to his family and loved ones," the Panthers said in a statement.

Anderson was a star at Jackson State and a member of a team that won the Southwest athletic conference championship in 1996 and the SWAC Eastern Division title in 1999. However, his NFL career was short-lived, when after playing for only two seasons, he was suspended in 2003 for substance abuse and never played in the league again.

Later, Anderson attempted to join the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League but did not make the final roster.

Mahomes outsmarts NFL to appear in a beer commercial

NFL rules prohibit players from appearing in beer commercials, but Patrick Mahomes found a way to get around the prohibition. How did Mahomes get away with it? He appeared in a beer commercial that's not actually about beer, CBSSports reported.

Coors Light cleverly teamed up with the Chiefs quarterback by making a commercial for a flashlight. But the tricky part was that the flashlight was designed to look like a can of Coors Light. The flashlight is nicknamed "the Coors light." Mahomes posted the comical commercial in a video on his Twitter page.
