The Philadelphia Phillies shut out the Houston Astros 7-0 at home on Tuesday night, taking the lead in the World Series 2-1. By the fifth inning, Bryce Harper, Alec Bohm, Brandon Marsh, Kyle Schwarber, and Rhys Hoskins slammed a record-setting quintet of homers off Astros starter Lance McCullers Jr., MLB.com reported.

The Phillies scored two runs in the first, two runs in the second, and three runs in the fifth while the Astros went scoreless.

Philadelphia Phillies' third baseman Alec Bohm entered the record books on Tuesday night by hitting the 1,000th home run in World Series history.

In addition, the Philadelphia Phillies tied a World Series record with five home runs in a game courtesy of Bryce Harper, Alec Bohm, Brandon Marsh Kyle Schwarber, and Rhys Hoskins.

Country music star Tim McGraw was in the stands attending Game 3 of the World Series in Philadelphia. And in a show of support for the home team, Tim wore the blue jersey with red stripes and lettering of his father, Phillies legend Tug McGraw, who won a World Series with Philadelphia in 1980.
