Steph Curry and Snoop Dogg renovate youth basketball court

Steph Curry and Snoop Dogg joined forces to refurbish the Long Beach Boys & Girls Club basketball court in California. The renovation was unveiled on Tuesday, showing new hardwood floors and hoops. Over 70 kids had waited over a month for the surprise, Vibe reported.

"We want to provide a space where you can come enjoy yourself and get lost in fun, lost in the competition, invest in yourselves, and be around a lot of amazing coaches and programs," Curry told the Long Beach kids.

"This is where I learned how to play basketball, play football, be active in the community, and build relationships," Snoop said. "It’s where I learned how to rap, talk, and just be me – in this park. For us to give these kids more opportunities than we had – that’s what it’s really about."

NBA makes major change to schedule

"The scheduling decision came out of the NBA family's focus on promoting nonpartisan civic engagement and encouraging fans to make a plan to vote during midterm elections," the NBA said.
