NASCAR suspends Bubba Wallace

NASCAR has issued a one-race suspension to Bubba Wallace following an investigation that determined he deliberately spun reigning Cup champion Kyle Larson at Las Vegas. NASCAR called it a "dangerous act" of retaliation, ESPN reported.

"When we look at how that incident occurred, in our minds, (it was) really a dangerous act that we thought was intentional and put other competitors at risk,'' said Steve O'Donnell, the executive in charge of competition and racing operations. O'Donnell went on to clarify that the penalties were for the dangerous and deliberate retaliation using his vehicle, not the fracas a few moments later.
