With free agency in full swing, a flurry of signings is taking place: Penguins, Avalanche, Wild, Blues, Capitals, Lightning, Canadiens, and NHL more activity.

Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins have a number of signings and re-signings to announce:

Drake Caggiula: The 28-year-old, 5-foot-10, 176-pound forward has been signed to a one-year, two-way contract through the 2022-23 season with an average annual value of $750,000 at the NHL level.

Josh Archibald: The forward has signed a one-year contract worth $900,000 annually.

Jan Rutta: The defenseman has signed a three-year contract worth $8.2 million.

Xavier Ouellet: The defenseman has signed a two-year contract with an annual value of $762,500 at the NHL level.

Dustin Tokarski: The goaltender has signed a one-year contract with an annual value of $775,000.

Colorado Avalanche

Here are the latest signings and re-signings for the Colorado Avalanche:

Josh Manson: The Avs have re-signed the 6-foot-3, 218-pound, 30-year-old defenseman to a four-year contract. The details were not immediately available.

Juraj Slafkovsky: The 18-year-old forward has signed a three-year, entry-level contract. Slafkovskywas the first overall pick in the 2022 NHL draft and helped Slovakia win the bronze medal at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, scoring seven goals in seven games and earning the most valuable player award, as well as being named to the tournament's All-Star team.

Madison Bowey: The 27-year-old defenseman has signed a one-year, two-way contract

Anthony Richard: The 25-year-old forward has signed a one-year, two-way contract

Mitchell Stephens: The forward has signed a one-year, two-way contract.
