Raiders' Waller to become highest-paid TE in NFL
Los Angeles Raiders tight end Darren Waller is in contract discussions with the team, with CBSSports reporting that he is close to a deal that could make him the highest-paid NFL player in that position in terms of average money per year.
Currently, the highest-paid TE is George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, who earns an average of $15 million per year. According to reports, Waller is negotiating an average of $16 million per year. He has only two years remaining on his current deal with the Raiders.
Commanders' Robinson released from hospital after being shot
Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson was released from the hospital on Monday, one day after being shot twice during an armed robbery attempt and undergoing emergency surgery.
