Chiefs and Mahomes dominate in win over Cardinals

The Kansas City Chiefs were absolutely dominant as they rolled over the Arizona Cardinals 44-21. Even without Tyreek Hill as a target, Patrick Mahomes threw for 334 yards and five touchdowns, CBSSports reported.

Brady leads Buccaneers over Cowboys as Prescott out with hand injury

Tom Brady took care of business, leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the Dallas Cowboys 19-3. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott struggled to get anything going and late in the game suffered an injury to his right hand, ESPN reported. Prescott looks to be out for several weeks, Fox reported. QB Cooper Rush took over for Dallas, going 7-for-13 with 64 passing yards and two sacks.

Commanders' QB Carson Wentz make strong debut

Washington Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz made a strong debut on Sunday, throwing for 313 yards and four touchdowns. He led Washington to a fourth-quarter comeback against the Jaguars and is being called the best QB the team has seen since Kirk Cousins, CBSSports reported.

Titans lose on another missed game-winning field goal

The Tennessee Titans lost by a single point on Sunday after kicker Randy Bullock missed a 47-yarder to give the Giants their first season-opening win in six years, 21-20.

Patriots QB injured in loss to Miami

New England Patriots quarterback Matt Jones suffered a back injury in Sunday's 20-7 loss to the Miami Dolphins, going for x-rays after the game. Reports say the results were promising and Jones will receive follow-up when the team returns to Foxboro, TribLive reported.

Jones visibly struggled during the game, completing 21 of 30 passes for 213 yards, one touchdown, and an interception.

49ers lose to Bears as Trey Lance stumbles

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance floundered as the team lost to the Bears on Sunday, completing only 13 of 28 passes for 160 yards and an interception. Critics say the Niners should bring in Jimmy Garoppolo as QB if Lance continues to struggle, while fans of Jimmy G on Twitter are still talking trade to see him back in a starting role.
